In the dark........for a friend

         IN THE DARK........
                           ........FOR A FRIEND

I was lying in the dark

still,motionless,lying on the beautiful

lush greens,which appeared dark

because of the setting darkness.

My eyes were wide open

gazing into the sky

looking at those milky white stars.

They appeared amazingly good

and my heart wanted to fly

away to a place unconquered

and a place with plenty of happiness.

Surprisingly,I was floating in the air

looking and searching for the desired place and

I travelled miles and miles

to the east first and the west next.

Alas!I could not find

any place which could satisfy

my heart and there i was,

lonely,travelling around the whole world

but could not find a lovely friend.

There was none not even one

and my heart returned in silence

and took the pain of travelling

back to my body

only to wake me up with a jerk.

My heart rejoined my body

only to find myself

still in the dark woods,

still and motionless

and now lonely and alone,

my heart is weeping for a true friend............!
